At Smarty Pants Early Learning Centre our aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical and aesthetic skills to become competent and confident individuals. We recognise the unique influences that family, community and education have in a child’s life and we aim to create an environment where trusting relationships are formed through open communication and a welcoming atmosphere.
About Us
We are a privately owned and operated Child Care Centre, established in response to the needs of our community and surrounding areas, to provide increased child care facilities of a high standard for both working and non-working families.
We are proud of the secure and stimulating environment we have created and believe that childcare is a combined responsibility, involving the child, parents, family and our dedicated childcare staff.
Our outdoor environment allows the imagination of a child to blossom and encourages learning through exploration. At Smarty Pants Early Learning Centre we recognise that Children are active learners who develop at individual rates – and they are treated this way!
Smarty Pants is licensed by the Department of Education Training And Employment and caters for 63 children from 6 weeks to school age. Our Service complies with the National Quality Framework (NQF) including the National Quality Standard (NQS), the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the National Regulations (Education and Care Services National Regulations).
Smarty Pants differentiates itself by being the only centre in the area to include all meals as a part of your daily fees. Kids Gourmet Food is a specialised service providing children healthy, professionally balanced and nutritious foods. Their food is prepared with the Children’s nutritional requirements in mind, using high quality ingredients and ensuring portion sizes are adequate. Children will receive morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea each day. The introduction of Kids Gourmet Food encourages healthy eating whilst educating children on their food choices.
