Kids Gourmet Food is a company that provides food which meets and exceeds the dietary requirements for kids lunch boxes. The food provided is healthy and nutritionally balanced, whilst being adequate in quantity.
Kids Gourmet Food provides a no fuss daily menu that is fun, creative, prepared with quality produce and is practical for Smarty Pants Early Learning Centre to prepare. The centre is provided with accurate weekly menu’s, showing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea varieties.
Menu’s are on display at the centre, we welcome you to have a look through these during your next visit.
Please discuss your child’s specific food needs with your Group Leader.
Please note: Children being collected late in the day are asked to bring a late snack. This is to be placed in a named lunchbox and put into the Kookaburra’s fridge at commencement of your child’s day.
What to Bring
Hat – Hats must be worn outside at all times, broad brimmed or legionnaire style. Smarty Pants Early Learning Centre policy is “no hat, no play”.
Sunscreen – should be applied before your child arrives and staff will apply again prior to outdoor play activities.
Rest Time – Two small or one large sheet and a comforter toy, if required for rest time. A cosy small rug during winter would make rest time more comfortable and quiet activities.
Spare Clothes – Young children require 3 spare sets of clothes, and if toilet training, additional underpants and/or training pants. Ensure clothes are suitable for the weather. It is vital to name all clothing so lost items can be returned to their owner.
Bag – All your child’s belongings need to be sent in a bag for safe keeping.
Show and Share items – Children are encouraged to bring items such as story books, art work, photographs and objects from nature to share.
